Hi! I’m Dave Freeborn, owner of Islandia Pools and I’m so glad you’re here.


Each year, together with my wife and my incredible team, we work with hundreds of homeowners and architects on the North Fork and the Hamptons who are looking for a company that can build a spectacular pool, install a gorgeous spa, and make their backyard feel like a resort. No passports or reservations required.

We’re proud to say that we can deliver all that, and we top it off with stellar service and award winning designs.

 
 
 
 

Before we opened Islandia over 30 years ago…

After working in our family’s pool company for over 10 years, we were proud to take the reins and continue the legacy built more than 30 years ago. Islandia Pools was founded when our family, in search of a pool of our own, struggled to find a professional, reliable company we could trust. Knowing we weren’t alone, they left their jobs and built a business rooted in quality, integrity, and care.

Today, we remain just as committed to those same values—delivering exceptional service, craftsmanship, and trust. As the premier pool company on the East End of Long Island, we’ve been honored with numerous awards, including Dan’s Best of the Best—and we couldn’t be more proud to carry on the tradition.

We love spending time with our children, and there’s nothing better than turning on some good 80s and 90s tunes while we’re all together. Many of our favorite memories happen right in our backyard, gathered around the pool.

With music playing, the grill going, and fresh local corn on the table, we soak up every moment—watching the kids jump into the deep end, practice their handstands, and run over to the spa to laugh and share stories. There’s truly nothing like it.
